| I'm tired of job hunting. Really tired.

| I received an email from Xanga saying they miss me and that I should write in my blog. Well I have been sort of wanting to write in this thing so here is my attempt at some random musings:
- This was the first year I didn't really try to do anything for April Fool's. I must be getting old. - I turned 27*gasp* a couple months ago. I'm not looking forward to August because by then I will labeled as "late 20s." - Being a Bay Area sports fan is depressing. Both the giants and a's will have long seasons ahead, cal bball and football both flamed out, niners suck and made some terrible free agent signings, and the heart attack Warriors are not fairing well when it matters most. If the Warriors don't make the playoffs I will be sad for weeks. Just watching these last few regular season games is making my hair turn white and taking years off my life. I guess there's always the Sharks... - Still no job, and not attracting much interest for that matter. When you're unemployed and everyone around you is working and pretty successful, it's hard to not feel inadequate and behind. But I know that this is what God had in store for me at this point in time. I just hope that the job comes soon. - Jackie and I reached the 2.5 yr mark, which was pretty significant for me. - Everyone seems to be moving on or in transition. That makes me feel like old is on the horizon. - Brandon, Kev and I went to Chick-Fil-A after golfing this past Saturday. I decided to get the large fry and drink with my meal deal and in exchange I got a chance to win a free dessert. All I had to do was sink a nerf bball shot that was maybe 10 ft long. I made it on the first shot and the manager walks by and she says "WOW I have never seen anyone do that!" In my head I thought, "Really? That's sad." It wasn't a gimme shot but I would think more people would make it. Anyway, as I am waiting for my free caramel-cappucino milkshake (retail value $3.49), the manager comes up to me and asks if I am a golfer. Now I came dressed in my Tiger Woods hat, Burgundy Nike golf shirt and golf shoes, so I did look the part. But I tell the manager that I just play for fun with my friends. And she is all bubbly and saying how great that is and blah blah. So as she finishes delivering her drinks she comes back to me a 3rd time and asks where I am from. Now I am thinking, that's interesting. Turns out she tells me about her husband who golfs and so she just thought how great it was that we were golfing. Then she says, "Let me bless you with some burgers." I look at Kev and I'm like, "Whaaa?" She comes back with 3 free chicken sandwiches! The moral of the story for me is to always go to Chick-Fil-A in my golf gear so people think I'm Tiger Woods and give me free stuff. - I babysat Jackie's niece for a week with Jackie. It was fun but very tiring too. I've never taken that many naps before.
That's enough for now. Hope I didn't bore you.

| Only 2 more weeks of school. I have no idea how I'm going to get through it. Worst case scenario I'll have to come back in January and finish my project. Let's hope it doesn't come down to that. I cannot wait for Christmas...
